There are various ways to check happiness index. There are multiple forces in astrology that constitute your happiness index. Of course, strength of the BASIC birth chart is a massive force but there is not much one can do about it. Let us talk about CURRENT happiness index. It could be combinations ox X1 + X2 + X3 + X4+X5-X6 etc forces.

X1: Current A Mahadasha (Intrinsic strength of this planet A in your chart)

X2: Current B Antardasha (Intrinsic strength of this planet B in your chart)

X3: Current C SubPeriod (Bhukti) and SubSubPeriod D (Pratyantar)

X4: Current position of 9 (11) planets as compared to your birth-time Chandra and lagna!

X5: Current GURU drushti on your birth-time planets

X6: Current SHANI drushti on your birth-time planets (This would be MINUS)

 

(1)  You have been getting regular updates on most of the planets compared to your Chandra and lagna rashi (X3) thru AstroMNC360 degrees.

(2)     You have also been getting your active CURRENT MD AD SubPeriod in the FOOTER of these updates.

(3)     You have been getting alerts & interpretations about your RAHU and SHANI SubPeriods which tend to be the MOST critical, pivotal desire/destiny mix!

(4)     You have been getting SHANI and GURU compared to your birth time planets too from time to time. (X4)

 

(5)     NOW – we have added one more information – a quick number which shows X5 and X6 above in each of the update in the footer! This will help you how many blessings you have from GURU and how much audit/policing is going on by SHANI for you.  This will be included in each of the ongoing updates sent to you.

 

Transit GURU DRISHTI:

In-short: At a given point in time (now say Nov-20-2021 to April-12-2022), the more the planets from your birth-chart in current transit GURU drushti, better luck for you regardless of your Chandra or Surya Rashi.

It means GURU blessing will help a given planet to give its best. Even if it is SHANI ANTARDASHA which is usually audit and conservative growth or at times much needed reduction, this GURU blessing will help some growth due to the aspected planet. If it is RAHU ANTARDASHA which creates unrest, anxiety and irritation to act, this GURU drushti helps that planet to settle down a bit and not take extra-rash decisions.

The more the planets in GURU drushti, better the result of a good karmic-gains Mahadasha and reduction of losses or misfortune due to Karmic Burden Antardasha or a Sub Period.

If lesser the number of planets in GURU drushti -- it is NOT bad luck AT ALL, it is just neutral. The audit and policing and reality check are the job of SHANI. Planets in SHANI drushti would show some issues and tests or character, personality, knowledge, temper and so on. Absence of GURU drushti means NEUTRAL with a given planet.

In SHORT -- say a PLANET X is Karmic Reward in your chart -- Guru drushti on this planet will only enhance its good rewards. More so when this PLANET X Antardasha or Sub Period is going on. If a planet Y is Karmic Burden for your chart and it has its Antardasha or Bhukti going on -- current GURU drushti will at least put some limit to the issue created or show a way out by good advice by others, timely help by others or your own knowledge.

Of course, at a given time a specific planet of your birth-chart could be under drushti of BOTH transit GURU and Transit SHANI. In such case the results are mixed. This means say 3 out of 5 things that come to you due to that specific planet could be good and 2 out of 5 tough or vice versa. In such case, it is very difficult for any astrologer to decipher which one is good and which one is bad. It is the coexistence of multiple FORCES on our life. IN such cases, Prashna-Kundali OR specific degrees of planets or ongoing Antardasha or Bhukti could be used by an astrologer to decipher these individual things/proposals. BUT still, one MUST do number crunching and step by step progress when a specific planet in under BOTH Shani and GURU drushti.

P.S. When I say 2 out of 5 or 2 out of 5 it means the things a given planet represents in your chart. For example, Mangal is land property vehicles and friends. So, if BOTH SHANI GURU are aspecting your Birth-Time Mangal right now, it means some deals, proposals for land property would be tough and some good. Some friends could help and some oppose etc. Same with SURYA - Seniors, bosses, legal, court matters -- 1 could support and 1 could oppose.

For AstroMNC 360 Degrees updates: I have also counted Lagna-Rashi and Rahu Ketu but NOT Neptune Uranus. Means total 10 entities are considered in this -- 9 major planets and lagna-rashi. Out of 10 even 3-4 under GURU drushti is a GREAT news. The actual planets are also included in the bracket following the number. We can also call this number also as the happiness index. More the planets in GURU drushti, more the happiness index!

 

Transit SHANI DRISHTI

At a given point in time (Say, JAN-24-2020 to APRIL2022 and JULY-13-2022 to JAN-17-2023), the more the planets in your birth-chart are in transit SHANI (in Makar) Drushti -- the more the audit, issues, reality check, tough tests if personality, health, temperament and various departments of your life and career depending on what each planet represents in your chart. SHANI does NOT create issues but it just SHOWS your own issues due to this or past-birth karm. SHANI makes you work hard for these areas of life. It is NOT failure but it is reality check and necessary contraction or reduction so you do not carry EXTRA-weight in the marathon of your life. Without SHANI audit you would run a marathon with 30KG more than you should and the result would be lot more disastrous than SHANI audit making you go thru the process of reducing this extra baggage. SHANI is not THANOS! :) Shani MOULI (mother) is a TOUGH teacher who makes you work hard by hitting you and not like GURU by good advice and suggestions! It makes you go thru hard times if you do not ALIGN quickly! :)

In SHORT -- SHANI drushti on multiple planets reduces some of the expansion or increase/growth shown by Karmic-Reward Antardasha or Bhukti etc and SHANI increases the "feel" of tough times MORE if a Karmic Burden Antardasha or Bhukti is going on. We can also call this number also as the happiness index. More the planets in SHANI drushti, it affects the overall happiness index a bit more.
