HONEY and Astrology Connection

HONEY, HONEY HONEY…!!

NOTHING in this article is what is not already known to any average Indian just like tamarind or lemon which are quintessential part of an Indian lifestyle.

Connecting this to Astrology: The 6th house KETU, SHANI or Drushti of SHANI on the 6th house shows lack of enough acidic stuff in the stomach and hence digestion issues and then slowly resulting in skin issues and also multiple other issues. LEMON in each meal and lemon (or chhach/taak) is known to be a remedy for this within your meal (sour pickle) and also after meal having a glass of chhach-butter milk or lemon juice.

Regardless of this, HONEY has MAGICAL impact on your body. Honey rather is good for any planetary combinations in the 6th house! Surya Mangal in 6th create acidic stuff or Agni-Raashi (Aries Leo Sagi) create acidic tatva in the 6th house in intestines and in such cases HONEY acts as a layer or a healing for your stomach lining or whatever they call it. When Shani Ketu impact is there, it means, honey acts partly as a catalyst also and helps not as much as lemon but does extend the help. Also honey sends an MRI (not like Rahul Gandhi!) of your stomach to your brain! (Not actually – it is my way of putting things) It makes you realize what is going on in your stomach to your brain. It allows brain to access the parts of your stomach which junk food or excess of stuff put in there might be stopping.

SO HONEY is one of the MOST imp aspects for anyone with skin quality issues – actual or perceived! 😉 External or internal it works both ways.

This lemon or honey business is NOT a substitute for eating right food and right quantity and CERTAINLY no substitute for walking 3Km min everyday and at least 1000 steps 20 minutes after each meal.

AYURVEDIC students and experts can comment on from their side as they must have categories of people as per their “prakruti”.

Below excerpts from this article are from MAGZTER Subscription (HER WORLD MALAYSIA) about honey.
Boasting high antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, honey has long been heralded as a ‘superfood’. In fact, according to the Smithsonian Magazine, honey has an eternal shelf life. It’s reported that pots of this amber treasure were found in ancient Egyptian tombs and were still remarkably preserved – as very few bacteria and microorganisms can take hold and grow in it, preventing it from spoiling.

A HOST OF BENEFITS

(1) Heals wounds
The next time you get a cut, slather some honey over it. According to the Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine, it’s able to keep the wound moist and its viscosity acts as a protective barrier to prevent infection – on top of its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

(2) Healthy skin
Combating acne? Show your skin some TLC by soothing it with raw honey (straight from the jar) and leaving it on for about 20 minutes, before washing it off. “Raw honey works to make inflammatory acne look less angry because it has an osmotic effect on the skin – it can draw out [excess fluid] and help reduce inflammation,” explains Kavita Mariwalla, a dermatologist.

(3) Combats coughs
A tried-and-true remedy over the years for sore throats has been a cup of warm honey and lemon – but did you know it may also help with coughs? Dr James M. Steckelberg, an infectious disease specialist, cites a study, which observed how children aged two and older with upper respiratory tract infections experienced a decrease in coughing at night when given two teaspoons of honey at bedtime.

(4) No more itchy scalp
Given its edge in fighting bacteria, it’s no surprise then that the European Journal of Medical Research has reported a study in which thirty patients, with seborrheic dermatitis (a type of rash) and dandruff, massaged a concoction of diluted honey onto their scalp for two to three minutes every other day – letting it sit for about three hours. After a week, the itching was said to be relieved with the scaling having vanished. And after two weeks, all skin lesions were healed and disappeared.
