SHANI DRUSHTI on BUDH and BUDH in Intense degrees
Wanting to write from a long time but haven’t yet. Thought I will share a brief post and follow-up with a detailed article. While there is too much focus on GURU SHANI RAHU KETU etc, the smaller planets from the natal chart decide the TOTAL “Bhavishya” of a person! Smaller is misnomer – I should say faster moving ones like Chandra, Budh, Mangal Shukra and Surya too. Surya in a month and hence even though it is not small – it is as imp as these faster rashi changing planets. The faster planets decide the whole make-up of the person and SHANI GURU and RAHU KETU vary it by contracting or expanding or adding genetics to these faster planets respectively! BUDH is brain/nervous system, Surya is heart, spine, bones, Mangal is blood, muscles, CHANDRA is water in the body and mind/emotions. GURU SHANI enhance or contract these things and RAHU KETU add genetics and also intense psychology etc to the mix.
The most interesting for me is SHANI BUDH sambandh! SHANI with BUDH very close and in intense degrees show head, brain, nervous system issues in the maternal family – maama mousi and the maternal elders. With RAHU close to BUDH it could point to father’s mamaa mousi and with KETU close it could be mother’s mamaa mousi. BUDH in RAHU nakshatra it could be again father’s mother side folks and so on. Detailing aside – THE BIGGEST issue of SHANI impact on BUDH or badly placed BUDH in the chart is directly on the thinking and rational thinking as it is about brain and nervous system. MANGAL drushti on BUDH shows math, chess champion, advanced math and engineering sort of mind while SHANI drushti on BUDH is great for auditing, policing, review, testing, criticism etc. RAHU MANGAL together drushti on BUDH and that too close could show autism and aggression and SHANI or KETU impact on BUDH pessimism and phobia and so on.
THE BIGGEST issue I see is that BUDH ANTARDASHA or BUDH BHUKTI (SubPeriod) is AFTER SHANI Antardasha or Shani SubPeriod. This means – SHANI Antardasha or period is tough usually for most people and rather all people even if some good effects if SHANI is well placed. This TOUGH SHANI period is followed by BUDH ANTARDASHA or a period and which for normal chart is much better and easier than SHANI Period. It is easier success than SHANI period. However, if BUDH is not well-placed then --- this continues the issues and does not give a break! The further issues are that BUDH period is followed by KETU Period – KETU is maternal DNA/family. This means BUDH is maama mousi and if it is not well placed – chances are KETU is not of a big help too! And hence even KETU period also shows some issues again from the maternal family and continues the tough period started by SHANI Period. (This SEQUENCE of SHANI BUDH KETU SHUKRA SURYA CHANDRA MANGAL RAHU GURU is THE SAME for ALL FOLKS regardless of the chart.)
SHANI is 19/120 and BUDH is 17/120 and KETU is 7/120. Hence SHANI size and BUDH size are quite big in given MAHA or ANTARDASHA or BHUKTI etc. IN Marathi we call it as Aaagitun fufaatyaat padale! Or “Aaasamaase Gire Khajoor pe atake”!
WHILE SHANI with BUDH impacts own brain headache, nervous system too – it is also about relatives and more so maama mousi and maternal elders more so if lagna rashi is MESH or MAKAR. More so when BUDH SHANI are in MESH and in the first 3 degrees of MESH SINGH Or DHANU or last 3 degrees of water signs KIRK VRISHCHIK MEEN – this has bigger impact! If SHANI or BUDH are L5 – owner of the 5th house and SHANI drushti also on GURU – then it can occur to your kids too.
Will EXPAND this article with examples.

Since Bidh is swamy of Kanya rashi, does it mean that Shani drishti on Budh and Budh being in intense degrees is bad for Kanya rashi people?
