*WastuShastra Some thoughts*

I have always avoided controversy when it comes to astrology. Tried to be as practical and pragmatic as possible. That’s why I have avoided wastu articles so far as they could offend some practitioners. The way Fridge Microwave, Electricity LED lamps and so on have time barred many “customs” and parampara - the same way wastu needs to evolve and be used practically! The basics are very good of course! They are trikalabadhit - always true universally good! Just that we need to use it a bit smartly in 2024 than we used then in say 200/300/800/1000 or even 1890! :) This is my first article or post on wastu. 

ORIGIN of WASTU / TIMES Of WASTU Principles 

(1) BUNGALOWS and not multi-storey buildings: Wastu applies to bungalow or a building and not to individual flats per se. But, yes it could be used for a flat without losing sense of purpose behind it.  

(2) SUN: Designed around SUNRISE and SUNSET: Wastu was designed assuming only SURYA as source of power and without surya it’s just light using oil of daily use and not even petrol diesel!! Wastu wasn’t designed for LED fridge TV electricity and so on!! :) :) :) 

(3) WASTU Origin times — SANITATION was primitive and people used to go away from their house and even village or city!! 

Of course it is good idea NOT to fight nature and align to SUN and the nature as much as possible! :) But it is NOT going to bring you BAD LUCK or MISFORTUNE by ANY WASTU! Yes, earlier times even till 19th century before electricity— not following WASTU could bring you diseases etc and basic hygiene absence if WAASTU not followed. In modern times these issues hardly exist! But yes, lets us follow WASTU as much as possible without superstitious fear or luck/fatalistic outcomes!

HOW TO USE DISHAA — DIRECTIONS

(A) Good things like kitchen, water storage, temple, food items, fridge, microwave etx should be NorthEast North or East north. Water cooler, perishable stuff. Study room.

(B) The “dark items” or say unholy stuff (unclean) should be Southwest, South, West. This includes toilet, septic tank, storage that doesn’t store perishable stuff. Bed room (sex)

These things make MAJOR COMMON-SENSE, do.’t they! Following them helps you align with SUN RISE SUN SET related alignment and major natural alignment. You do not want KEEDA MAKOUDA that could gather around Southwest South or west near your drinking water or your kitchen! :)

What if we have some issues with above alignment

— you just can’t have that — say water tank is west or south —->>> LED lights or white lights alter behaviour of humans forget insects - 24 hour LED lights and white light would ensure the “remedial” of at all you have these good items in west or south directions. This is MAJOR aspect of modern lifestyle. Who the bright light ensures that bad acts don’t happen there! :)

AGAIN: Some quick points. 

(1) WASTU applies to Bungalow and standalone structure. So entrance or exit or water storage or toilet or septic tank or such stuff applies more to the building and not individual apartment.

(2) ENTRANCE: yes, still you can “try” to have entrance at NorthEast, North, East, Northwest or Southeast directions in that order and avoid southwest and west as much as possible. This, again applies to a building and not each flat. But check as much as possible. WHY — apart from Gods direction or pure direction or energy or magnetism etc — let’s look at simple common sense —->>>> Sun rises east and powerful and clean energy is on the water side. West side has powerless Sun rays! West attracts kide Makoude (insects) jaale (spiders) and even Snakes etc stuff. Due to dark and not having no clear clean rays and energy. Obviously you would want to have entrance at the East. Also you would want to have kitchen or water storage tank to East direction where there is enough light! 

(3) Water tank — kitchen food items — Of course East and NorthEast and North directions! Obvious to see why! Positive sun light - powerful and healthy sunlight ! Keeps it better..! 

(4) Master Bedroom — where physical activity happens where you sleep —— southwest - south - west.. common sense is that you don’t get disturbed the moment sun rises! :) also sex activity should not need east north east direction. It’s better in the “dark” directions! :)
